The Atari 520ST was a personal computer released in 1985, notable for being the first to feature a bitmapped colour graphical user interface (GUI) and built-in MIDI ports, making it especially popular among musicians.

The ST was used in various fields, from small business desktop publishing and CAD in Germany to a cheaper alternative to Digital VT220 terminals in offices.
