Product specs
This is an AKA automatic flatiron, likely from the German Democratic Republic (GDR) era or from the USSR. In its original box with instructions. The brand name "AKA" was an acronym for a marketing slogan: "Active on the market – Concentrated in trading activities – Up-to-date in the range". Slips of the tongue that one. 1940's, 1950's.
