Murphy red leather B283 battery portable transistor radio. First released in 1957 for the princely sum of £13 2s. 6d. An optional M281 mains adaptor was available for an extra 3 3s. 0d. Unfortunately due to the LT battery position, serious leakage could damage the speaker. Gosh what a load of useless information.
