This is a Robot Germany Impulsgeber, an electro-mechanical interval timer used to generate timed electrical pulses for control, testing, or automation tasks. With adjustable timing ranges from seconds to hours, it was commonly used in laboratories and industrial systems, dating from the late 1950s to mid-1960s.
