Negretti & Zambra temperature recorder, London. A precision laboratory and industrial recording thermometer designed to measure and document temperature changes over time. The instrument uses a sensitive thermometric system connected to a recording mechanism that traces readings onto a moving chart. Used in scientific laboratories, meteorological stations, and industrial process monitoring such as boilers or storage environments. Early–mid 20th century, c.1920s–1940s.
